Super shredders, a division of the Barbara Olson Center of Hope, (about the center) was founded in 1999 as a way for the center to supplement their income while providing a service to the community. Initially, Super Shredders started with large console shredding units and participants at the center fed in documents.

in 2001, with the cooperation of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Super Shredders expanded and upgraded their facility. New high speed shredding equipment was purchased along with state of the art surveillance equipment.

Today, Super Shredders has emerged as the areas trusted source for secure document destruction. We maintain regular pickup routes throughout the area and are continuing to expand our service. In addition to shredding paper, we are expanding into data storage destruction and cardboard recycling. Updates to follow in the coming months.
